Flights to Dalaman
Flights to Dalaman are now nearly daily from most UK airports. The flight takes approx 4 hours and Dalaman Airport is locatad on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.
Don't forget all passengers arriving in Turkey have to pay a £10 tourist entry visa.
Prices of flights to Dalaman vary depending on the time of year you decide to travel. Flights start in late April in time for the Easter break and run through til the end of October. As most of the tourist resorts around Dalaman are closed in the winter months (November to March), if you need to fly to Dalaman, you have to go via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines.
May and October are the cheapest months and the weather is still very good compared to the UK. July and August are the most expensive due to the school summer holidays, but you can still save money if you book early.
You can choose from the standard 7 or 14 night durations, or because alot of airlines fly 2 or 3 times a week, you can even mix and match creating long weekends of 4 or 5 nights, or if 2 weeks is too long, how about a 10 or 11 night holiday.

Lykia World Reviews
Ian Farley, Exeter, April 2013
Just returned from a weeks holiday. Never been to turkey before, let alone the Lykia World but had the greatest time ever.
The accommodation was first class, the food was amazing, the entertainment was awesome and the staff were the nicest people I have ever met, nothing was too much trouble.
I will be going back again and would not hesitate in recommending the Lykia World to anyone thinking of going on holiday abroad. Thank you too all the staff working there you made my holiday.
James Ashbrook, Ipswich, Suffolk, October 2010
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Lykia World and I must say it was just as good as the 1st time. The staff are friendly on arrival and make you feel welcome all week.
This time we were put in the village part of the hotel, and even though some reports said it wasn't great, we couldn't fault it. We hardly spend anytime in the room anyway as we were always out and about doing stuff.
Our kids love it and want to go back this year. They spend most of their time in the pools or with the fantastic entertainment staff in the kids club.
We found enough to do in the nearby resort, but you don't actually need to leave the hotel as everything is there for you.
I can't recommend this enough, and if you have kids and love Turkey, then this is the place for you.
